Bree’Anna Anderson was an RBI machine on Tuesday, driving in four to lead Anahuac Lady Panthers Varsity past Warren 16-15 on Tuesday. Anderson drove in runs in the third, in the fifth, a fielder’s choice in the sixth, and a walk in the seventh.
There was plenty of action on the basepaths as Anahuac Lady Panthers Varsity.
Warren opened up scoring in the first inning, when Jordan singled on a 3-2 count, scoring one run.
Anahuac Lady Panthers Varsity scored four runs in the third inning. The offensive onslaught by Anahuac Lady Panthers Varsity was led by Ysabeth Chavez, Becca Henicke, Anderson, and Kate Hankamer, who all drove in runs.
Warren scored seven runs in the second inning. Warren’s big inning was driven by singles by Jordan and Stewart and doubles by Hayes and M Spradlin.
Lauralei Culp led the Anahuac Lady Panthers Varsity to victory in the pitcher’s circle. She allowed 15 runs over seven innings, striking out three.
McEachern took the loss for Warren. She surrendered 16 runs over six and a third innings, striking out four.
Hankamer led Anahuac Lady Panthers Varsity with two hits in three at bats.
Warren scattered 19 hits in the game. Jordan, Nevins, Stewart, L Spradlin, Hayes, and Moore each managed multiple hits for Warren. Jordan went 4-for-5 at the plate to lead Warren in hits.
